February 4-10: A large combined force exercise (joint task force exercise and Operation BOLD ALLIGATOR) will take place in and around the entire MCAS Cherry Point range and training area complex, with participation from the United States Marine Corps and United States Navy as well as forces from Canada, France, Holland and Britain. Expect to see and hear increased military ground and air activity as late as midnight, as well as many naval vessels operating off the coast of eastern North Carolina.
