Description
Community park for the whole family.  Located behind Town Hall at 7500 Emerald Drive, and adjacent to Emerald Isle Parks & Recreation Community Center.

Seasons/Hours
Open year round from sunrise to sunset.

Pets
Leashed pets allowed; must be on a six foot leash.  Owners are subject to pooper scooper law.  $50 fine for violators. 

Costs
No fee.  Reservations are not accepted.  First come, first serve.

Use of the tennis courts requires reservations, which must be made in person in our Tennis Court Sign-Up Book located under the picnic pavilion next to courts.  A fee of $2 per person, per hour must be paid at the Community Center or in the drop box on an honor basis for playing tennis.  Tennis courts are open until 11pm daily. 

Directions
From the intersection of Hwy 24 and 58 proceed across the B. Cameron Langston Bridge.  Travel through four traffic lights.  After the fourth light, look for the Bogue Banks water tower.  Blue Heron Park is nestled in a quiet setting just behind Town Hall.    Accessible via Leisure Lane or Black Skimmer Road.  Ample parking provided along Leisure Lane and at Emerald Isle Parks & Recreation.  Limited parking available on Black Skimmer Road.
