Community Center
Located on Leisure Lane
adjacent to Town Hall (at 7500 Emerald Drive, directly across the street from
Emerald Isle Realty), the Community Center is a place where you and your family
can re-create yourselves! The Center is open Monday-Friday, 8am-9pm from Labor
Day to Memorial Day, and 8am-8pm from Memorial Day to Labor Day; on Saturdays,
9am-4pm; closed on Sundays. Children under age 12 must be accompanied by an
adult.
(Directions: The Emerald Isle Parks & Recreation
Department Community Center is located on Leisure Lane. From Emerald Drive
(Hwy 58) turn north (toward the sound) onto Leisure Lane which is directly
across from the Emerald Isle Realty Office at Mile Marker 19, the Center is at
the bottom of the hill on the left, basketball and tennis courts on your right.

Exercise Room:
A comfortable,
wood-paneled room equipped with everything you need to get a great
cardiovascular & resistance workout: 5 lower body resistance machines, 4 upper
body resistance machines, 1000+ lbs. of free weights, a Smith machine, 3
treadmills, 3 elliptical cross-trainers, 4 stationary bikes (including a
recumbent bike), an inversion table, various sized Swiss (exercise) Balls, and
Body Bars in a multitude of weights. Exercise room for ages 16 and up only.
Indoor
Gymnasium:
A
spacious indoor gym with a collegiate-size basketball court used for league and
open-play basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer, dodgeball, dance classes and

Lounge and
Conference Room:
Newly renovated! Need an area to enjoy some time relaxing with friends while
awaiting classes, programs or events? Need a small conference area for your
card game, board game, catching up or reading? Our sizeable lounge and game
room provides just that- and anything our members may need. Accommodates small
groups for meetings or classes. The lounge and conference room are available
during regular Community Center hours.
