Founder of Professional
Yoga Therapy Studies, Ginger Garner’s:
Professional Yoga Therapy Studies program,
a Yoga Therapy training and continuing education program for health care
professionals and advanced yoga teachers and therapists, was born over 7 years
ago, after Ginger’s own personal evolution with yoga which began more than 15
years ago.
PYTS is a grassroots Yoga Therapy education
program dedicated to the experienced health care professional. Ginger founded
this program and created a new, comprehensive approach to yoga therapy that is
medically grounded, biomechanically sound,
evidence based, and very much true to yoga's roots. This method is called
Professional Yoga
Therapy™.
As a
physical therapist with a background in athletic training, manual therapy, and
sports medicine, women’s health, and chronic pain management, Ginger is
passionate about teaching others how to heal with a holistic yogic approach,
remaining true to the rich roots of yoga’s origins while helping to promote
growth in the new branches of its bright future.
