	Town of Emerald Isle Board of Adjustment Notice of Meeting Cancellation NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Adjustment’s regular meeting scheduled for Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 9 am has been CANCELLED due to a lack of public business scheduled to come before the Board. The next regularly scheduled Board of Adjustment meeting will take place according to the regular meeting schedule on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 in the Emerald Isle Town Board Meeting Room, 7500 Emerald Drive, Emerald Isle, North Carolina. Town of Emerald Isle Public Hearing Notice The Town of Emerald Isle Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing at the Emerald Isle Town Board Meeting Room, 7500 Emerald Drive, Emerald Isle, North Carolina on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 7:00 PM, or as close thereafter as possible, to receive early citizen input on the FY 2012-2013 Town Budget. This public hearing is scheduled at the start of the annual budget process to provide our citizens an opportunity to express opinions about service priorities, project priorities, expenditure levels, taxes and fees, and other components of the Town’s annual budget prior to the formulation of the proposed budget over the next few months. The Mayor and Board of Commissioners encourage our citizens to express their concerns about the budget at this public hearing and throughout the budget process. The Town Manager’s Recommended Budget will be presented to the Mayor and Board of Commissioners in May 2012, and another public hearing will be held in late May or early June. The Board of Commissioners will adopt the official FY 2012-13 budget no later than June 30, 2012.
