Art Club

Artists and the artistically aspiring meet on Wednesday from 12-4 pm at Town Board Meeting Room to critique, create and converse. All are welcome.

Community Woodworkers' Club

Emerald Isle Garden Club

The Emerald Isle Garden Club (EIGC), established in 1986, meets monthly from September through May on the first Monday of the month (except in September on the Tuesday after Labor Day). Meetings begin at 10 am and are usually held in the Town Board Meeting Room located at 7500 Emerald Drive. The Club's mission is to encourage interest in all phases of home gardening and promote better horticultural practices, civic beauty and the conservation of natural resources. The Emerald Isle Garden Club is affiliated with the Garden Club of North Carolina, Inc. as well as the National Garden Club, Inc.

EIGC hosts an annual card and games party and other fundraising events throughout the year to support the Club's many community services and beautification projects which have included the Blue Star Memorial on Emerald Drive; an educational kiosk at Emerald Woods Park; October Pink Pots Ribbon for breast cancer awareness; Bikes and Blooms; and installation of a rain garden, Bluebird Trail, and flower pots and signage at the Parks and Recreation Community Center. The Club also sponsors a youth garden club, Green Thumbs, that meets monthly with the After School Program at EI Parks and Recreation.

Emerald Isle Philately Club

Interested in Stamp Collecting? The Emerald Isle Philately (Stamp) Club welcomes new members!: The Emerald Isle Philately (Stamp) club has been an active club meeting in Emerald Isle for 22+ years.

The Emerald Isle Philately Club is the only stamp club within 50 miles. The club is a member of the American Philatelic Society, as well as The United Stamp Society.

Members may buy from these circuits. The club gets a new batch each month. Most meetings have no set time to end. For more information please call George Kukhorn at 252-354-5127.

Emerald Isle Run Club

Emerald Isle Supper Club

Emerald Isle Supper Club meets January through May and September through December on the 3rd Thursday of those months, 6-8 pm. Pot-luck buffet. Casual attire. Supper Club of Emerald Isle is a place for locals to meet up. Location: Town Complex at Mile Marker 19, meeting room next to Police Department. Emerald Isle Supper Club has been in existence for over 30 years. It participates in at least one charitable event each year. Annually, there is a Potluck in December. Toys for Tots is the beneficiary. Bring toys!

Friends of the Western Carteret Library

The Friends of the Western Carteret Library (FOWCPL) is a non-profit group that supports the programs and library needs for the Western Carteret Library through fundraising and donations.
