From April 15 through September 17, NCParking Kiosks will be in place at the Eastern and Western Ocean Regional Accesses in Emerald Isle to accept payment for parking. Signage and ambassadors will be on-site to assist as needed.
During this timeframe, parking is $2-$4 an hour, with the maximum paid per day being $16, during dates when the $4 price is enacted. Payment is accepted via debit or credit card.
4/15 - 4/30: Mon-Fri $2, Sat & Sun $3
5/1 - 5/28: Mon-Fri $3, Sat & Sun $4
5/29 - 9/3: Mon-Fri $4, Sat & Sun $4
9/4 - 9/17: Mon-Fri $2, Sat & Sun $3
Patrons may also download the Passport parking app to pay for their parking spot. The second video listed below shows how to use the phone app.
This program will run seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Parking pass applications for Emerald Isle taxpayers, business owners and select groups will be available online beginning March 1, and in-person applications will be available at the Emerald Isle Police Department starting April 1. The EIPD is at 7500 Emerald Drive.
