Paid Beach Parking

From April 1 through September 30, Parking Kiosks will be in place at the Eastern and Western Ocean Regional Accesses in Emerald Isle to accept payment for parking. Signage and ambassadors will be on-site to assist as needed.

During this timeframe, parking is $5 an hour, with the maximum paid per day being $25. Payment is accepted via debit or credit card. 

Patrons may also download the Towne Mobile parking app to pay for their parking spot.

This program will run seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Parking Passes

Parking pass applications for Emerald Isle taxpayers, business owners and select groups will be available online beginning March 1, and in-person applications will be available at the Emerald Isle Police Department starting April 1. The EIPD is at 7500 Emerald Drive. 

Emerald Isle taxpayers, business owners and select groups are eligible for 1-2 free parking passes through the Emerald Isle Police Department.
