Chamber of Commerce and League of Women Voters to Host Candidate Forums for the mid-term Election

The Carteret County Chamber of Commerce and the League of Women Voters of Carteret County (LWVCC) will be hosting 3 candidate forums for candidates running for county commissioner, house and senate and board of education races in multiple locations this fall.

The first forum for the County Commissioner race will be Thursday- October 4th from 6:-9:00 pm at the Superior Courthouse #1, 302 Courthouse Square in Beaufort

The second forum for the Board of Education will be Tuesday, October 9th from 6:00-9:00 pm at Joslyn Hall, 3505 Arendell Street at Carteret Community College.

The third forum for the House and Senate races is Thursday, October 11th from 6:00-9:00 pm at the Morehead City Municipal Building, 202 S. Evans Street in Morehead City.

Each will begin with panelist introductions followed by written questions from the audience posed by a moderator with timed questions from the panelists. There will be ample time for questions from the audience.
