Crystal Coast Eagles Goju-Ryu Karate –Do Kai is affiliated with Miyagi’s Goju-Ryu Seibukai Dojo in Okinawa City, Okinawa, Japan. Karate-Do is about changing behavior and building self-confidence. Positive results are achieved by willingness to strive and to practice. Kata and kata interpretation (bunkai), awareness and prevention strategies, self-defense and free-style sparring are emphasized. Class size is kept small so students receive more direct training. Fees are reasonable with discounts for more than one family member. There are no contracts, no testing fees, and no equipment fees. Instructors are well-trained and qualified.

FREEDOM CLASSES – Ages 9 & up. Thursdays 6:00 – 7:00 (All students white through brown ranks so the more advanced students can learn teaching strategies).
Thursdays 7:00 – 8:00 (Intermediate and advanced continue kata and self-defense training)
Thursday 8:00 – 9:00 (Sparring for Advanced only)
Friday 7:00 – 8:00 Kata training only
Saturday 2:00- 3:00 Special help training sessions TBA with Sensei
S.A.F.E. – (Self-defense, Awareness, Fitness & Empowerment) for Adults, Saturdays from 9:00 – 10:00am.
Combines fitness and personal safety. This class addresses the issues of aging through purposeful, progressive movement at each individual’s pace. Expect to become more aware of your body and address the issues of aging as you focus on techniques that not only make you healthier but as a bonus, also assist you with self-defense. Improve focus, memory, muscle strength and coordination, movement, breathing and balance. No prior training needed.
