League of Women Voters to Host Candidate Forums for Municipal Elections

The League of Women Voters of Carteret County (LWVCC) will be hosting 3 candidate forums for candidates running for local municipal races in multiple locations this fall.

The first forum will be for the Mayoral race in Pine Knoll Shores. This will take place Tuesday, October 8th from 6:00-7:30 pm at the Pine Knoll Shores Town Hall, 100 Municipal Circle, PKS.

The second forum will be for the Commissioner race in Cedar Point. This will be Thursday, October 10th from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Cedar Point Town Hall, 427 Sherwood Avenue in Cedar Point.

The third forum will be for the Commissioner Race in Emerald Isle. This will be Monday, October 14th from 6:00-8:00 pm at Emerald Isle Town Hall, 7500 Emerald Drive in Emerald Isle.

Each will begin with panelist introductions followed by written questions from the audience posed by a moderator with timed questions from the panelists. There will be ample time for questions from the audience.
