- M-80s, cherry bombs, etc.
Even if bought legally in another state, they’re not allowed in NC.
- Possession = Class 2 misdemeanor
LEGAL in North Carolina:
- Sparklers
- Fountains
- Smoke bombs
- Snakes & glow worms
- Party poppers & snappers
These stay on the ground and don’t explode.
FIREWORK SAFETY TIPS:
- Always supervise kids
- Sparklers = up to 2,000°F!
- Have water or a hose nearby
- Light one at a time
- NEVER relight duds
- Use on flat pavement, away from dry grass or debris
- Store safely
- Stay sober while using
