The Emerald Isle Fire Department is looking for dedicated and highly motivated individuals to join our team as a Full-Time Firefighter/Medic. This is an excellent opportunity to serve and protect the Emerald Isle community while working alongside a committed group of professionals.

Position: Full-Time Firefighter/Medic

Location: Emerald Isle, NC

Key Responsibilities:
Respond to fire, medical, and other emergency calls
Perform firefighting, rescue, and medical care duties
Operate and maintain firefighting and EMS equipment
Conduct fire safety inspections and public education programs
Participate in ongoing training and drills to maintain readiness

Qualifications:
NC Firefighter Certification (preferred)
NC EMT-Paramedic certification 
Valid NC Driver’s License
Must pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Strong commitment to teamwork and community service
