MATERIALS BID DOC Beach Access Walkways - Materials 06/28/24
The Town of Emerald Isle is seeking bids for the procurement of materials needed for the construction of 13 public beach access walkway improvements.
All bids are requested by July 9, 2024, no later than 11:00 AM (EST).
Interested contractors may submit written, sealed bids to ATTN: MATT ZAPP, Town Manager. Written bids may be submitted in the following methods:

Materials needed:
Wood should be marine grade (treated) and hardware should be stainless steel when marked SS.

Separate sealed Bids will be received until 11:00 AM, Tuesday July 9th, 2024, in the Town of Emerald Isle Town Board Meeting Room at 7500 Emerald Drive, Emerald Isle, NC, at which time any placed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the materials procurement for the Public Access Walkway Project.
The Town of Emerald Isle Commissioners reserve the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that bid or bids which appear to be in the Town's best interest. The Town reserves the right to award all or part of this Request for Bid.
Bids should not include sales tax. A “mathematical error” is a deviation in addition, subtraction, multiplication or division, or a transposition error which may or may not affect the total price. A mathematical error will be corrected based on the unit bid price. Where the intent of the price, unit or otherwise is unclear, the bid may be declared noncompliant.
