Congratulations to Karen Taylor of Peletier, who won the golf cart raffle through the Emerald Isle Golf Cart Advisory Committee and Emerald Isle Business Association! She is pictured here with John Lister of the Golf Cart Advisory Committee. Proceeds will benefit these two groups.

She said she and her husband, John, are "still speechless" that they won a 2022, fully outfitted golf cart from John's Golf Cars.  After seeing a poster in Emerald Isle, she bought the winning ticket online. Her number was pulled during a live drawing on Friday, April 22 at Fish Hut Grill. 

Mrs. Taylor said she and her husband have been contemplating buying a golf cart, so winning this raffle was exciting. She added that everyone at John's Golf Carts, Town staff and the EIBA have been extremely helpful.
